Mike Parker
Northport
Mike was born and raised in the Bangor area and enjoyed hunting and fishing in Downeast (Washington County), where he has family roots. After graduating from Syracuse University with a degree in Political Science, Mike spent eight years working with firearms retailers, affiliated sportsman’s clubs, certified instructors and gun show promoters on membership recruitment for the National Rifle Association in Fairfax, Virginia. While living in Virginia, Mike also became an active bull’s eye and trap shooter. As his family grew, Mike moved back to Maine where he has worked in banking for the last 20 years. The years spent out of state, taught Mike how unique and special our sporting heritage and traditions are here in Maine, and is committed to preserving these experiences for future generations.
