Tenley Skolfield

As a member of our Board of Directors Tenley chairs the Membership Committee and participates in SAM-ILA. 

Tenley’s passionate and dedicated service to advocating on behalf of Maine’s sporting community for conservation, fisheries, and wildlife spans over 30 years:

Tenley was spokesperson for the 2004 Maine Wildlife Conservation Council’s “Vote No on 2” campaign speaking publicly at numerous events and appearing on TV, radio, and public debate panels in southern, central, and downeast Maine as she advocated for Maine’s Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife world class bear management program; the referendum’s attempt at “ballot box biology” was resoundingly defeated.

You may also know Tenley as the former owner of Fish River Lodge, located along the shores of Eagle Lake on the Fish River chain of lakes in Aroostook County.  She spent 14 years improving the facilities and rebuilding the business’s clientele while also a full time Master Maine Guide.
