Robert Howe
Bob is a native of Waterville, Maine. He worked as a machine operator at Scott Paper Co. for 23 years, during that time he was the Vice-President of AFLCIO, Local 431 and a Union Officer for many years. Bob grew up hunting, fishing, and trapping starting at age 8, spending countless hours with his grandfather and other mentors teaching him respect and value of our states outdoor heritage. In 1976 he obtained his Maine Master Guide License and began to share his knowledge with others. At times, he taught outdoor education classes at a local junior high school. Since 1998, he and his wife have been owners and operators of Pine Grove Lodge, a four season sporting camp, and Maine Guide Snowshoe Company. He is a father of four and grandfather of seven. Now, his time is mostly spent planning free outdoor adventures for our nation’s military through the “Pine Grove Program” which he has founded.
