Senator Davis is serving his fourth term in the Maine State Senate.
Prior to being elected to the Senate in 2014, Senator Davis served three terms in the Maine House of Representatives and four earlier terms in the Maine State Senate, including three terms in leadership.
He currently serves as a member of the Appropriations and Financial Affairs Committee. Previously, he served on the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee, the State and Local Government Committee, and the Government Oversight Committee. He has also served as Chair of the Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry Committee and as a member of the Taxation Committee.
Senator Davis spent 23 years as a Maine State Trooper, serving primarily in Piscataquis County. He also served six years in the Army National Guard. A member of the Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine Board of Directors, he is an avid hunter, fisherman and snowmobiler.
Senator Davis and his wife, Patricia, have two grown children and four grandchildren.
